Details about conference day
Childcare: We will not be able to offer childcare services for the 2023 conference. We will continue to work on this for next year’s event.
Parking/entrance:
Enter the parking lot at 31 Cross Street, Spruce Pine, NC via Summit Avenue. Entrance to the conference is through the “front” door of the Cross Street Center. The door will be the last door on the left end of the building. You may also enter through the courtyard of the building if you are parked on the back side of the building. We will have greeters to welcome and assist you.
Boutique Area:
The conference features a fun element of a boutique area with area shops and vendors. This year we have 8 women sharing their small businesses with us. Please enjoy meeting them and shopping with them throughout the day. Remember doors open at 8 am for check in, coffee and shopping. If you are interested in having a booth in the boutique next year, email us at gratefulgirlgathering@gmail.com.
Group Reservations:
We are happy to announce a new group registration process for tickets this year! If your church would like to bring a group of ladies to the conference, use the group ticket option to make things easy to coordinate all of your group members!
Schedule for the day:
8 am: Doors open for check in, coffee and muffins, and browsing in the boutique shops. Be sure to check out the Sunshine Photo Bus and Southern Wings Boutique camper through the courtyard doors.
8:50 am: Begin moving to the sanctuary area, through the courtyard, to begin the day. Don’t miss the chance to take a picture with our Grateful Girl Gathering sign.
9 am-11 am: Praise and Worship and Speakers in the Sanctuary
11 am: DIY Sessions
12 pm: Lunch in the ballroom. This is a time for fellowship, meeting new friends, and browsing in the boutique. (Please have a little patience as our team works to move chairs from the DIY session to the lunch area after DIY sessions finish up. This is a great time to browse with our boutique shops). Be sure to check out the Sunshine Photo Bus and Southern Wings Boutique camper through the courtyard doors.
1 pm: Join us back in the sanctuary for Praise and Worship and our final speaker of the day.
3 pm: The close of the conference day… join us back at the boutique area to finish up your shopping and to grab any of your DIY creations that are ready to take home. Be sure to check out the Sunshine Photo Bus and Southern Wings Boutique camper through the courtyard doors to take a photo to remember the day!
