DIY Sessions

Gathering together with new and old friends to be creative is a fun way to connect! A unique aspect of the Grateful Girl Gathering is our DIY sessions.

These breakout sessions are presented by creative leaders in their field and offer our attendees a fun time of learning something new and fellowshipping with fellow attendees.

Each attendee can choose one DIY session that interests them when they register for the conference. (Tip: Register early to make sure you get your first choice, but now worries if you don’t! They are all great!)

Paint Your Own Canvas

This is going to be a fun DIY session where you create your very own artwork for your home based on the theme of the conference! What a neat reminder of your day at the Gathering!

Olivia Ellis is a self-described faithful follower of Jesus! She has been married for 8 years and has two beautiful children. She also has a love for art (especially painting). She currently enjoys working as the art teacher at Mountain Heritage High School. Olivia says she is excited to see what God will do at this conference!

“I will be leading a step-by-step tutorial on a “rooted” based painting. We will be painting acrylic on canvas. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a good artist to enjoy this! Looking forward to having you there!”

Devon started cookie decorating five years ago as a hobby while she stayed at home with her four children. God has allowed her hobby to flourish and she now owns Grace So Sweet Cookie Co, where she makes custom cookies for different occasions.
